When Rich the Kid set out to create a milestone for his record label, Rich Forever, he didn’t want ordinary jewelry. He wanted pieces that would capture the energy, ambition, and legacy of his label.
That’s why he turned to IceCartel™, the high-end custom jeweler known for delivering statement-making, one-of-one pieces to hip-hop’s elite.
The outcome? Three fully custom, solid gold pendants, completely iced out with over 8,000 VVS1 diamonds, designed to reflect the story, identity, and ambition of Rich Forever.
From Concept to Creation
Rich the Kid’s vision was clear: three pendants that match his artistic vision and celebrate his label’s journey.
The main trophy pendant: Over 5 inches tall, weighing more than a kilogram, designed to be a stage and photo centerpiece.
Two matching pendants: Smaller, wearable pieces for his co-sign artists, maintaining the same design theme for cohesion.
IceCartel™ worked directly with Rich from the beginning. They conducted multiple CAD revisions to ensure every proportion, curve, and detail matched his exact specifications.
From the angle of the bail to the thickness of each edge, no element was left to chance.
Once the designs were finalized, IceCartel™ moved into gold casting, building each pendant entirely from scratch. The raw gold forms were then transformed into high-polish, solid gold canvases ready for diamond setting.
Absolute Craft Behind the Diamonds
The diamond setting process was where the magic came to life.
The experts at IceCartel™ hand-set over 8,000 VVS1 diamonds, using a honeycomb layout to maximize sparkle and brilliance.
Each diamond was placed under a microscopic treatment, ensuring perfect alignment and light return.
The pieces were filed, buffed, and polished to a mirror finish, ensuring the gold gleamed as brightly as the stones.
The pendants went through a rigorous quality check, including prong inspection, stone security verification, and color matching to ensure the set looked flawless from every angle.
This meticulous process guarantees that each pendant is not just jewelry, but a work of art.
The Trophy Pendant
The centerpiece for Rich the Kid is a true statement piece:
Dimensions: 5 inches tall, over 30 mm thick, weighing more than 1 kilogram.
Design: Solid gold with more than 5,000 brilliant-cut VVS1 diamonds in a honeycoat setting.
Engraving: Rich the Kid’s slogan, “The World Is Yours”, etched into the back.
This pendant isn’t just heavy in gold. It genuinely carries symbolic weight, representing Rich the Kid’s success, ambition, and the legacy of his label.
The two smaller pendants, designed for his co-sign artists, mirrored the crown jewel in style, proportion, and diamond layout. This set offers a cohesive look across the set.
Hand Delivered in Miami
Once the pendants were completed, the IceCartel™ team personally flew to Miami to hand-deliver the set to Rich the Kid.
As Rich unboxed the pieces, the energy in the room exploded. The craftsmanship, weight, and brilliance of the diamonds immediately impressed him and everyone present there.
This was more than a jewelry pickup event; it was a celebration of Rich Forever’s milestone, immortalized in gold and diamonds.
