King Von’s Jewelry: The Late Rapper’s Bling

Published on Jun 18, 2025

King Von loved to shine. Whether on stage or in music videos, his jewelry always told a story, just like his lyrics. Flashy chains, bold rings, and custom pendants were a big part of his image. But these pieces weren’t just accessories. They reflected his journey from the streets of Chicago to the top of the rap game, a journey filled with pain, ambition, loyalty, and success.

Dayvon Daquan Bennett, known to the world as King Von, was born on August 9, 1994, in Chicago’s South Side. He grew up in Parkway Gardens, famously called “O’Block”, an area known for its struggles and street culture. Raised mostly by his mother, Von faced hardship early on. His father was in and out of jail and was murdered when Von was just 11. He got involved in street life at a young age and spent much of his early years behind bars. Despite the challenges, he stayed close to his roots and used his experiences to fuel his music.

King Von's career took off in 2018 when he dropped “ Crazy Story ,” a raw, gripping track that caught the attention of fans nationwide. It wasn’t just a hit, it was a statement. The song showcased his talent for storytelling and painted vivid pictures of his life. After signing with Lil Durk’s Only The Family label, Von gained even more exposure. Tracks like “ Took Her to the O ” and “ How It Go ” showed his versatility, while his mixtapes Grandson Vol. 1 and Levon James cemented his status in the drill scene.

Then came Welcome to O'Block , his debut studio album. Released just a week before his death, it was a powerful project that reached #5 on the Billboard 200 and proved he was a force in hip-hop. Sadly, Von’s life was cut short on November 6, 2020, during a shooting in Atlanta. He was only 26. The news shocked the rap world. Fans mourned not just a rapper, but a storyteller who brought authenticity to every verse.

After his passing, two more albums, What It Means to Be King and Grandson , were released, filled with unreleased tracks and collaborations. These posthumous projects kept his voice alive and celebrated his legacy.

And through all this, his rise, his pain, his fame, Von’s jewelry collection stood as a bold reminder of who he was. Each chain, ring, and pendant was tied to his identity, his crew, and his roots in O'Block. In the next section, we’ll dive into King Von’s most iconic pieces and what they meant to him and his fans.

King Von's Chains and Pendants

We can’t have a discussion without addressing the flashy chains and pendants King Von used to own. Here are some of those!

O Block Chains

King O Block Chains

Made by luxury jeweler Icebox, Von’s collection included ten identical O’Block pendants, each one crafted in white gold and flooded with VVS diamonds. The pendants had a bold design: a large “O” on top, stacked over the word “BLOCK” in icy block letters. While most of the pieces were similar in size, one chain was much larger and heavier, clearly meant to stand out as the centerpiece.

The estimated cost of Von’s O’Block chains ranges from $25,000 to $35,000 each, depending on size and diamond quality. That means the total collection could easily be worth over $500,000, if not more. Icebox, known for working with top rappers, confirmed they created the set exclusively for Von. He often styled the chains by layering several at once, especially in public appearances or music videos. The bigger chain usually sat in the middle, surrounded by smaller versions to create a stacked, eye-catching look.

O’Block, located on Chicago’s South Side, is where Von grew up. By wearing multiple pendants, he wasn't just representing himself, he was representing the entire neighborhood, his crew, and those he considered family. It became a symbol of loyalty, survival, and pride.

Von's “O’Block” chains are now remembered as one of his most iconic jewelry sets, both for their striking design and the story behind them.

Big Cuban Link Chain

King Von Cuban Link Chain

King Von’s heavy Cuban link chain was one of the most recognizable pieces in his jewelry collection. Once again, made by Icebox, the top-tier jeweler known for crafting custom pieces for hip-hop’s biggest names, this chain was built to make a statement. It featured thick, hand-set links fully iced out with high-grade diamonds, giving it an intense shine from every angle.

Von often wore this Cuban chain as the base layer in his jewelry stack. It served as the main support for his larger pendants, especially his “OTF” (Only The Family) piece and the massive “O’Block” pendant. The chain’s weight and durability made it ideal for holding these bold and meaningful pieces.

The chain has a classic white gold tone, but the diamonds bring it to life with unmatched brilliance. It fit tightly and sat high on Von’s neck, adding a strong visual anchor to the layered look he was known for. You could often spot it in interviews, music videos, or casual photos, always shining under the lights.

OTF Pendant

The heavy OTF pendant was a centerpiece of his jewelry collection and a proud symbol of his loyalty to Only The Family, the label founded by Lil Durk. Custom made by Icebox, the pendant was crafted in white gold and flooded with high-quality diamonds, catching the light with every movement. Its bold, layered design features a stylized “OTF” logo stacked above a large “O” that represents O’Block, Von’s Chicago neighborhood.

The pendant is thick, oversized, and unmistakably heavy. It hangs from his massive Cuban link chain, which provides the strength needed to hold the pendant’s weight and scale. Sometimes, Von would double up and wear the OTF pendant along with multiple O’Block chains, creating a stacked look that amplified his presence on camera and in person.

King Von Heavy Cuban Link Bracelets

King Von Cuban Link Bracelets

These Cuban link bracelets were another key element of his signature iced-out look. He didn’t limit himself to just one, he often wore multiple bracelets on the same wrist, layered alongside his luxury watches for maximum shine. These bracelets varied in width and style, but all shared the signature Cuban link pattern, set with diamonds on every surface.

Von sourced his pieces from multiple high-end jewelers, including Icebox and other custom designers, building a wristwear collection that matched the level of his chains and rings. Each bracelet was crafted in white gold, rose gold, or two-tone, and featured tightly packed VS or VVS diamonds for intense sparkle under camera lights.

He typically paired these bracelets with a bust-down AP or Patek Philippe, making his wrist one of the flashiest parts of his fit. In photos, his bracelets always sit snugly, stacked but never bulky, balancing out the weight of the heavy chains on his neck. The coordination was no accident: Von made sure every detail of his jewelry worked together, from bracelet to pendant, creating a full look that radiated status and personal pride.

The cost of his bracelet collection? Easily $20,000 to $30,000 per piece, depending on size and diamond quality. And with multiple stacked at a time, his wrist game alone was worth six figures.

King Von DG Amore Belt Buckle

King Von was known for his luxury streetwear fits, and one of the standout accessories he often wore was the Dolce & Gabbana DG Amore belt buckle. This designer piece, priced around $800, added a bold, high-fashion element to his outfits while still aligning with his flashy, iced-out aesthetic.

The DG Amore buckle features a vintage-inspired gold-tone finish, adorned with ornate heart details, baroque-style flourishes, and the signature interlocking DG logo at the center. It’s not a subtle accessory, it was made to stand out, and Von wore it exactly that way.

He typically paired the belt with slim or distressed jeans, sometimes slightly sagged so the buckle was clearly visible. The belt sat as the centerpiece between his layered graphic tees or designer sweaters and his iced-out Cuban link chains, creating a balanced look between luxury fashion and drill culture. The gold in the buckle often complemented the rose gold tones in some of his watches or rings.

King Von Audemars Piguet Wrist Watch

King Von’s Audemars Piguet watch was one of the cleanest pieces in his collection. This was a fully iced-out AP Royal Oak, customized by Icebox to match the rest of his heavy jewelry aesthetic.

The model he wore is likely the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 41mm, a classic design known for its octagonal bezel, tapisserie-pattern dial, and slim, integrated bracelet. But in Von’s version, the original luxury design got a bold transformation: the entire case, bracelet, and bezel were flooded with white VS+ diamonds, creating a nonstop shine from every angle.

Icebox, the go-to jeweler for many Atlanta rappers, handled the bust-down watch job, carefully setting diamonds into each link and surface without disrupting the watch’s shape or mechanics. Despite all the ice, Von’s AP still kept the clean, sharp lines that the Royal Oak is known for, just with a lot more flash. It cost more than $200,000.

Conclusion

King Von built one of the most iconic jewelry collections in the rap world, one that clearly represented his story, his roots, and his rise. Each piece he wore had a specific meaning, from the 10 custom O’Block chains made by Icebox to the heavyweight Cuban links that anchored his pendants. His bold diamond-covered OTF pendant, flashy star and dollar sign rings, and bracelets from various jewelers reflected his unique taste and growing success.

Von consistently paired his jewelry with fitted streetwear, designer pieces like the DG Amore belt, and standout watches, including his fully bust-down Audemars Piguet and Rolex models. Whether performing, in a photoshoot, or off-stage, his accessories always matched his presence, loud, deliberate, and unmissable. His style wasn’t focused on trends; it was a personal expression tied closely to his identity, loyalty to O’Block, and reputation in the rap world.
