Is moissanite a fake diamond?

Moissanite is not a synthetic diamond or the often dreaded cubic zirconia, it's a totally separate gemstone that is naturally only found in meteorites and has almost identical properties to a diamond.

Will moissanite pass the diamond tester?

Yes – moissanite diamonds are practically identical to natural diamonds, and it's quite difficult to tell the two apart unless you're an expert with specialized equipment. The reason why moissanite diamonds pass standard handheld testers is because they look at the thermal properties of the material that they're held to. Because moissanite acts in the same way, this ensures that they pass the tester. It's not just its thermal properties that are similar: moissanite diamonds are visually stunning and incredibly hard too. This ensures that your piece will last for decades and look just as good as the first day you invested in it.

Do rappers wear moissanite?

Yes. Many rappers and celebrities have stopped buying diamonds, because moissanite is financially smarter and looks identical to a diamond.

Can you tell the difference between moissanite and diamonds?

No.It's impossible to tell the difference between moissanite and diamond just by looking at them.
