Playboy Carti, dubbed “one of a kind” by XXL Magazine, is an Atlanta born rapper who has in 12 years become a world sensation, releasing multiple best selling albums (“Die Lit” in 2018 & “Whole Lotta Red” in 2020) and collabs with the most influential rappers of the generation, including A$AP Rocky, Tyler the Creator and Kanye West.
Carti, whose real name is Jordan Trell Carter, started making beats at his home city Riverdale, Atlanta and started uploading them on SoundCloud when it was popping in 2011-2016. After getting famous for his hit “Broke boi”, he continued producing hit after hit and started doing shows with A$AP Rocky, Lil Yachty, A$AP Ferg and Lil Uzi Vert.
In 2017, Carti released his first successful mixtape Playboi Carti and it got him featured on XXL Magazines “2017 Freshman Class” alongside XXXTentacion, A Boogie wit da Hoodie and more. At the same time, he featured on A$AP Mob's track “Raf”.
